Our friend, Stacey, sent us this ADORABLE onesie/romper style outfit for Reese. It's 24 mos and navy blue. It says Rockets are red, fireworks are blue, 4th of July is fun because I'm with you. Isn't that sweet? Well, LeLe, we're working on it.
Oh, Stacey also sent us the sponsor update she received on Reese from China Care.
Here's the high points:
She can walk up and down stairs. (not that we have any stairs at our house...lol)
She can dress herself. (I'm impressed...that's A LOT of layers to have to pile on...hehe)
She can say a few words clearly such as "afraid". She can tell her foster parents when she is afraid of something.
She likes to play outside.
She likes rice, noodles, soup, porridge (congee?), and sweets.
She loves her toy phone and picture books. (First official recognition of the phone-thing)
She does not like strangers. She has been taught not to go anywhere with anyone or speak to someone she does not know. (good in the long run....) She speaks politely to people she is familiar with.
She can go to the bathroom by herself and can tell people when she needs to go to the bathroom.
She enjoys cleaning things and when she sees someone wearing dirty clothes, she will ask them why they aren't wearing clean clothes.(oh, boy....we're gonna have to keep her away from the hobos downtown and my dad's route...lol)
The update says she is 88 cm (about 34 in. if I remember correctly, but we don't think the weight it accurate at all...so I'm not going to post it.
