It's so weird to look back over the last 8 months and see just how much Reese has grown. It's looks like there was a big growing-up spurt from August to September. It's like she was a baby in August, and she looks like a little girl in September. These last 8 months have flown by, for the most part. She's learned to do so much (as Grandma Debbie says: "See? You can learn English in 6 months.") and has such the personality. She's stubborn as a mule, too. I constantly get from Mom, "I went 7000 miles to get a kid who is just like you at that age." Weird to think about. When she's sweet, it'll melt your heart. When she's rotten, you want to see if those hooks on the wall that supposedly hold 50 lbs. actually do. And there's a lot of both. I love her to pieces, but there's time, as with any kid, that you sit there and go 'what have I got myself into?'. But I wouldn't trade her for a barrel of monkeys...Actually, a barrel of monkeys may be easier to handle. ;) The one Monkey we have is a handful! She loves music. She can sing a few songs of The Academy Is...'s album, 'Santi', several off of Avril Lavigne's 'The Best D*mn Thing', and even some AFI. She loves Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus and can sing some of both of their stuff. She likes Scooby-Doo and watches the one DVD we have of him so often she can recite the episodes along with it. She's potty trained when she's not asleep, and mostly she can do buttons. Obviously, there's issues but she's getting it. Zippers have to be started for her, but she's good from there on out. She's VERY opinionated. What child is our family wouldn't be?

Love ya, Reese's pieces. Even the ornery parts.
