Reese got a trophy today at school (the last day for the academy, preschool gets out Friday) for memorizing 13 Bible verses. This is the child whom, less than a year ago, didn't speak English. The child who didn't have us at home helping her learn them (we lost the list). And there were plenty at her school who didn't get a trophy for it. She even got special recognition for having gotten the trophy when she didn't speak English not too long ago. She was the only person who got that special recognition. We're so proud of her. And she is of herself- her first trophy of her own!
I'll post more pictures (and/or a layout) tomorrow, hopefully. She was very happy to get her trophy. It even has her name on it.
