Tokio Hotel

I felt I had to post some of Tokio Hotel's music/videos on here, spread the musical love, I suppose.

This is off of their English album, Scream. It's the English version of "Durch Den Monsun". Bill (the singer) worked very hard with several different people to translate these songs as closely as possible to the meaning of the original German, which is hard to do as some German words have meanings and ideas difficult to transliterate into English.

This is Tokio Hotel when they were roughly 14-15 years old, before Bill's voice changed. They're now 18. Well, Bill & Tom, who are twin brothers (the singer and the guitarist) are 18. Gustav (drummer) is 19, and Georg (bassist) just turned 21. This is "Schrei" (Scream) off of the album, Schrei (2005).

This is "Spring Nicht" (Don't Jump) off of Zimmer 483 (Room 483), their 2007 German album, to give you an idea how Bill sounds in German now that puberty hit.

I love their music, and I just thought I'd spread the word about this awesome band. Also, if you'll notice the difference between just the twins, style-wise...it's a great thing that they can make music together, yet be so different. Outside of Tokio Hotel, Tom listens to German hiphop, and Bill listens to Green Day and Placebo. It's great to see people with such different interests come together to make something so awesome.
