Update

Mom is home now (was as of yesterday at about 5:00 pm). The shoulder is pretty painful, but the painkillers seem to be taking care of the worst of it, unless it gets jostled by accident or something. Mom's going to be home with Reese and me for at least a week, maybe more, we won't know that until next week. She'll be going back on light duty.

Reese is really confused. It's hard to explain to a little kid that she can't really be by Mommy right now. The easiest place for Mom to sit is with her left arm against the arm rest, so Reese can't sit on that side, and we're doing our darnedest to keep her away from the right side. Best intentions don't stop that fact that 3 year olds are hyper and forget they can hurt people sometimes, just by doing what they usually do. Mom slept on the couch last night, not with Dad and Reese, and that really threw Reese off, too. So please pray that this gets easier for Reese.
