Reese got her ears pierced today. She's been asking for earrings since before she could say earrings. So we told her we would take her to get them pierced for her 3rd birthday. We explained to her that it was going to hurt. It would be like a boo-boo. She still said 'I want earrings'. So we took her today. So she know has earrings.
She didn't even cry. She teared up a little, and had this look like 'that hurt more than I thought it would...' after the first side was done (only one person was there to do it). But she never shed a tear. She sat still for the second side. She sat there solemn as a judge, and the lady showed her herself in the mirror. She got this biiiig grin, and goes 'I got earrings!'.
