First Giving Fundraising

As I have said in a previous post, May is Sturge-Weber Awareness Month. In honor of SW Awareness Month, I am trying to raise money for the Sturge-Weber Foundation. They have set up a First Giving account where people can help promote the Foundation and donate money to them. Reese has Sturge-Weber, and the Foundation works to discover more about this little known, orphan syndrome, including resources and support for families effected and research for much needed new treatments. I have set my goal at $3000, a lofty goal, but I would love to hit it. Every dollar counts, even if you can only contribute a little, it would mean so much. It could mean so much for Reese's future, and for the future of other children with birthmarks and/or Sturge-Weber Syndrome.
There is a FirstGiving widget on the sidebar where you can donate, if you so choose, which we would love you to.

Can you help?
