Emerald Bluebonnet Feis

We went to Dallas for the weekend for a feis (Irish dance competition). It was fun. I danced in 8 dances, but only placed in one. I got 4th in my reel. It doesn't sound really positive, but it was a pretty good weekend, no matter how you look at it. I had a "new" (a.k.a. new to me, but used) dress that was looser than my other one, which allowed me to breathe and move. And put on my own dance shoes, lol.

We also bought me a new pair of soft shoes, as my old pair is about down and out. Thanks, Mom!

It was a fun weekend. Not a lot of good pictures, because we couldn't use flash in the dance hall, so many of them are blurry. But I have a few that are decent that I'm going to post.

Before we left Friday, Reese got left alone in the bathroom. There were scissors in the bathroom. You can see where this is going, right? Yeah....apparently, some part of her hair, towards the back part of her bangs, was itching her. So she cut it. So she know has this spiky spot right about her part near the front. It doesn't look bad, I mean she took 4 inches off or so, but still.

It could've been worse. It'll grow, and as it does, it will lay flat again. You can't really see it in the pictures, but I'll try to get one sometime soon where you can see it.
