Deciding on "The Tree"
On Sunday, December 20 (my 19th b-day), we went and got our Christmas tree. With Oireachtas being the first weekend of December, it throws off the time frame we used to get our Christmas tree (the first weekend).
We went to the B. Christmas Tree Farm, where we've gone every year (except one, when we went to a friend's tree farm) since 1988. We decided on a smaller than normal tree this year. Usually we get one about 7' tall, this year the "perfect" tree stands right about 5', maybe a little more. And it didn't get put up until Christmas Eve, because things were uber crazy all week. But it's up now, and it's beautiful. :D
