Having fun

We've had all kinds of fun over the last couple of days. Yesterday, we ate breakfast at Waffle House after leaving Mom at work (the first time she's been away from Mom for any real length of time) and she ate scrambled eggs. She loves scrambled eggs. After that we went to Wal-Mart for a little while to kill some time in between breakfast and her doctor's appointment. We went to the doctor to do blood work because they didn't get all the blood they needed last Friday. They got all the blood they needed and everything has come back normal. So hopefully she won't need any more blood drawn for a while. Then we went to Petsmart and Toys 'R Us to kill time in between her appointment and my appointment with my therapist. That was so funny. She LOVED Petsmart. She looked at the 'meows' (cats), the birds, the fish, and hamsters/gerbils. At my therapy appointment, she went in with me (she still doesn't want Dad much, but he works as a resort to an end) and we played a bit while I was talking with Britt.

Today, we went to the Museum of Discovery and we ran around and touched things and pushed buttons for a little over an hour, then we went and got ice cream at the River Market. For lunch, we had food from a catfish place on Mom's route (minus Mom). She ate hush puppies and french fries. He left to go get some more napkins, because Jin-Jin is a messy little bugger (lol), and she yells 'baba!'. It was so sweet, because that was the first time she even cared that he was missing. On the way home, she fell asleep, and we all needed a nap, so we tried a new method. Picking her up out of the seat wakes her up and gets her going again. So, since we were in Murphy (my Ford Explorer) and the car seat is uber easy to get out, we just disconnected the seat from my car, took it inside, set her and it on the couch, and she took her nap in the car seat. Easy squeezy, lemon-peezy.

Just now, she gave Dad a kiss on the shoulder. So sweet. That's major progress.

I have some videos to upload but my 'net is being very very slow. I also have some pictures, but once again. Net is being stupid. So I'll try to post them later.
